A student-run film series featuring screenings of recent independent and foreign films, as well as classic films—all chosen by students. Students introduce each film and lead lively discussions following the screening. Snacks are always served and sometimes pizza! In addition to watching films on campus, club members travel once each semester into New York City for a free press screening of a soon-to-be-released-movie. The club sponsors special events on campus like Movie Trivia Night at the Pub, with prizes for winners who know the most about movies!
Rider AMA is a student-run, professionally-advised and supported organization of 艺术管理 & Executive 领导 majors and minors which is structured and operates much like a real-world arts producing institution does. The AMA engages and hosts professional guest speakers in the field, produces special professional development events such as the “RUCAST” networking brunch, provides support for arts productions and activities on campus and off, and functions as a valuable hands-on learning tool for future 艺术 Administrators.
